My journey into the world of weaving

Dorothy and her parts

The Dorothy Leclerc loom has been identified as a 15″ Dorothy 4 Shaft, built in December of 1974.
Among the parts CN sent are:
a McMorran Balance
6 stick shuttles (some with yarn on them still!)
2 boat shuttles
2 threading hooks
12 plastic bobbins
lots and lots and lots of heddles
2 wooden lease sticks
2 apron rods
2 reeds – one 8 dent and I am not sure about the other. A little cleaning and they’ll be good to go!
I also discovered it does not have a friction brake but a Ratchet and Pawl brake.
I’ll be able to use Dorothy soon!
