My journey into the world of weaving

“Wedgewood” set off the loom!

The “Wedgewood” placemat set is off the loom! I wove pretty close to the heddles. My loom waste at that end was 13 inches!

Each placemat is about 23 inches long, give or take a half inch or so. The width of each is 13.5 inches. I need to baste a hem for the washing stage and then each will be hemmed. I think they are a nice set!

The warp for the rug is ready for the loom!

I’m not sure how much I’ll get done this week – some. I’m anxious to get going on the rug but patience is a virtue and I don’t need to plunge into it. Mistakes get made that way.
